My story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It's also the most efficient way to make a donation to the Kenya Children's Home via the Balcraig Foundation. Your money gets there faster and, if you're a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

In May 2009 I will be traveling with my friend Karen to Nairobi and spending a week working with the staff and children in the Kenya Children's Home. Four of my brave colleagues are skydiving on 25 April to raise sponsorship for this worthy cause. Many thanks to David Maxwell, Dan Lander, Matt Wells and Jon Goddard. We are also holding various fund raising events such as a quiz night and a raffle. There are many projects ongoing details of which can be found on the website - http://www.kenyachildrenshome.org.uk/ Jonathan Gloag Academy, Soila Maasai Girls Rescue Centre, Mashimoni Squatters School, Kelvin Loaf, Westminster Weddings, Posho Mill, Thrift Shop, Kelvin Kraft, Kenyatima. We are keen to raise funds for sports equipment for the orphanage and perhaps raise funds for an additional batches of bread for outlying orphanages.
