Hello all,
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am trying to raise money for two very worthwhile charities both of which endeavour to help people suffering with cancer.
The first charity is Cancer research uk- (www.cancerresearchuk.org). I’m sure you’ve all heard of them before, they’re the UK’s leading cancer charity and one that has the most significance press coverage.
The second charity is The NET Patient Foundation incorporating Living with Carcinoid- (www.netpatientfoundation.com/ ) . It is a charity that was formed in 2006. The “NET” stands for Neuroendocrine tumor and this is an umbrella term for a group of relatively rare cancers, often called the “quiet cancers”. Around 2000 cases are diagnosed each year but it is thought that a much larger number of people have NET but remain undiagnosed.
As with many people in the UK I know someone who has been affected by cancer and I want to try and make a difference in the fight to beat cancer.
I am hoping to raise £1000 by throwing myself out of a plane at 13,000 feet.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Every penny counts so any contribution however big or small will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks again,
Elliott
