My story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On 12th September 2006, I was wounded in a landmine explosion whilst serving with 7 Para RHA in Afghanistan. I suffered a total of over 40 injuries including the loss of both of my legs, multiple fractures to my left arm, brain and spinal damage. I spent almost 4 months in a coma.

With the support of my family and friends I am making a remarkable recovery. I am learning to walk again with prostethic legs and now I am determined to do as much as I can to help others who have been wounded whilst serving in the UK armed forces.

In 2008, I was asked to become Patron of the military charity PROJECT 65. This great organisation raises vital funds for the care and support of wounded military personnel and families who have suffered bereavement. PROJECT 65 is very important to me because it does not just focus on today's wounded soldiers but ALL wounded soldiers who need care and support.

In May 2010, I am going to participate in stage 5 of FORCES MARCH, a 131 mile challenge from Ilfracombe to Bulford. I will be WALKING - something I was told I may never be able to do again.

You can join my team and do the FORCES MARCH with me by visiting www.forcesmarch.org.uk.

I am aiming to raise as much money as I can for PROJECT 65 to help the thousands of others who need the help and support that I have been given.

PLEASE HELP ME BY DONATING AS MUCH AS YOU CAN!

Thank you!!!
