I am raising funds for a printed guide for haematology and oncology in-patients at UCLH to support them through their time through chemotherapy, radiotherapy and long-term stays in hospital.
The guide is written by patients for patients and contains many ideas of how patients can support themselves in hospital.
It includes friendly illustrations, nutrition ideas, a meditation, a local
map, exercises, and quotes from many patients sharing their ideas and
experience.
I create the guide over the last 7 years with the Haematology User Group and with the help of other patients and staff. The guide is now ready to be printed with laminated copies to go into each room as well as paper copies for patients to take home.
The remaining money we need for the print run is £1000. If you are willing to make a donation of any kind, please do and help us support patients facing life-threatening illnesses.
