The Cumbria Way sponsored walk will be from 1st to 5th May. We'll start from Ulverston, go through the middle of the Lake District amongst the mountains and finish just before Carlisle. The full distance is 72 miles, but I'll probably settle for the reduced distance option of only 55 or so.
All walkers pay their own costs of transport and accommodation, so all the money you donate goes straight to supporting St Luke's Hospice care of terminally ill people in Harrow and Brent.

(The Chancellor seems to have found a way to postpone the threatened cut of charities' Gift Aid to 25%)
