Cancer, unfortunately reared its ugly head several times in my family so this is a very personal issue for me. Riding for the Fireflies is something i've wanted and needed to do for a long time now. I can never know the suffering of someone who has this horrible disease, but i can do something to help fight and hopefully cure it. Riding my bike over the Alps for 1000+ km is a small thing in comparison to the suffering of those with cancer. It will be hard, probably the hardest physical and maybe emotional task of my life so far, but the payoff at the end will be enormous both in personal and financial terms for Leuka.
1000+km of road and the mountain range the Alps between 75 riders and their goal, the Cannes Lions Advertising Festival and a target of £1,000,000 in donations over the last ten years of the ride.

Please give as much as you are able, it will mean a lot to all the children and adults at the Leukemia unit at the Hammersmith hospital.
