Step right up for ..............Funrunopoly!
The 28th June will see myself and around 30 of my friends split up into teams to play a funrun style game of Monopoly around the streets of London.
Each team will dress up as a Monopoly icon (I’m bidding to go as Mr Monopoly himself = top hat and tux!). Each team has a giant dice that is rolled by a member of the public to decide our route around the monopoly board. The competition is to get to as many locations as possible over the day. At each location we will have a different task to do, (e.g. get as many people into a photo as possible, try to get £5 in donations, find and photo a local statue, etc). So we should raise publicity along the way.
Update ..............
The game of Funrunopoly was completed on 28th June with great success. The weather was kind, the attendance and participation excellent with the game itself proving a challenging, exciting and unique way to see the city of London. It is clear to say a great day was had by all.
As part of the games street collection I am proud to say that we raised an excellent £465.77p towards our target for VSO.
As part of sponsorship we have tallied up a pledged sum of £1550.00 This could achieve an amazing £2000 total for VSO. Its not too late to contribute and support VSO, so please consider sponsoring below.........
