As most of you who visit this site probably know my mum Val was diagnosed with terminal cancer in early 2008. Cancer is an indiscriminate and terrible disease which has almost certainly affected a close relative or friend of every one of us. The work carried out by MacMillan Cancer support is invaluable in ensuring that those suffering from cancer receive the best possible care throughout the duration of their illness.

Please give generously, every pound will give me extra motivation to dig in through the 26.2 miles!!!

It took me a strength sapping 5 hours however, given the injury problems I had recently and the heat on the day I was just chuffed to finish as over 150 didnt. It looks like the final amount raised will be in the region of £2100 which is fantastic. Thanks again.
