Hi all,
 
Completed the London marathon yesterday
(Official time 3 hrs 56mins 26 Secs), incredible experience although last 6 miles were hell for me!, I'll prepare better next time. Apologies for all those text messages/calls I didn't answer, I managed to lose my mobile phone in the St John's Ambulance tent after the finish line...so desperate was I for a bed!
 
Anyway, a massive thank you to all you who sponsored me, I really appreciate it and will be happy to return the compliment when you are fundraising. I would thoroughly recommend everybody should do at least one marathon, even if you walk it!  I've never experienced anything like it, having thousands of people shouting your name and offering encouragement along the route is mindblowing....infact towards the end I was surprised how emotional I got...if I had trained more I would have enjoyed the latter stages more but all in all an unforgettable day....
