The South London Lupus Group is a regional group of the Lupus UK charity. The annual Awareness and Fundraising Walk is one of its main activities and this year's walk is in the memory of Paulette Allen who passed away in January. A lupus sufferer herself she was an active member of the group and instrumental in the success of past walks.

Lupus is an auto immune disease that can affect the internal organs and skin.Funds raised by the charity are used for medical research and to provide support sufferers of this debilitating illness which has no cure.
