Here at CAFOD Westminster we have set ourselves a huge challenge. On Sunday 10th June we will be running a gauntlet of fierce Canadian geese, dodging precipitous drops into murky canal waters and attempting to look stylish in helmet and bicycle clips - all in the name of pedalling against poverty.

Because, at the same time as we cycle 16 miles, others across the world will be journeying as well - to find clean water, to escape the soldiers attacking their homes, or to reach their nearest healthcare centre.
