Sheenagh seems to think we can compete in this year’s Barrathon, a yearly painfest of gale force winds and volcanic inclines masquerading as a half marathon around Barra on Sat 4th July (check out www.barrathon.org.uk and read this testamoan-ial if u don't believe me!! http://www.barrathon.org.uk/ode.html )
Aside training by pushing wardrobes up arthur's seat and carrying 2 kids on 4 hour uphill treks, raising money for the Martyn Bennett Trust (www.martynbennett.com/) might also provide that extra bit of guilt fuel to get us round the island.
With no MGT this year we were hoping this might help a bit.. so no pressure on us then ..
times are tough we know - so any and all help is appreciated.
