Alan, Nicola, Shaun and Rob as representatives of Penson Financial Services Ltd. will be leaving the UK on the 12/06/08 to travel to the muddiest part of California to complete their Mud Run challenge in aid of raising money for Sense International. The world famous mud run in Camp Pendleton, San Diego is a challenging 10K run with hills, tyre obstacles, river crossings, two 5-foot walls with mud on both sides, tunnel crawl, slippery hill climb and the final 30-foot mud pit – and for those of you who are aware of their combined fitness levels: you will know just how challenging!
To help their fund raising, Penson has generously donated a 50” HDMI Plasma TV with Freeview which you could win!

Sense International is a charity that works with deafblind people in developing countries. This is the most isolated of all disabilities and combined with limited health care and poverty means many deafblind children are institutionalised, kept in isolation or even abandoned! Sense International helps these people to communicate, connect, interact and flourish. For example:
£15 Would pay for sensory toys to help a deafblind child explore the world
£25 Would pay for the education of a deafblind child for one week
£75 Would pay for the travel costs of a community worker for one year
£100 Would provide vocational training for deafblind young adults in Latin America
£1000 Would help set up a specialist training programme for parents and teachers in East Africa
