My story

THE MARATHON DES SABLES

In April 2007 we will be attempting to run "The Toughest Foot Race on Earth" to raise money for ICT. The Marathon Des Sables takes place in the Sahara Desert (Morocco) in temperatures exceeding 120°F. The overall distance is 243km run over 6 days, the equivalent of 5 1/2 regular marathons.

We will each have to carry everything we need to complete the race (apart from water which is rationed, and a tent) in a rucksack which will weigh in excess of 30lbs
