I am about to take part in possibly the most demanding foot race in the world, 'The Marathon des sables'. 150 miles of dry hot Sahara desert with all kit, food etc carried on my back.

I dont expect to be on the winners podium (they will have packed it away by the time I get there) but I am going to raise as much money as I can for Medecins Sans Frontieres (msf.org) by  completing it .This is where you come in, please donate (generously,lavishly,heavily) what ever you can.
