My personal message:

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.  Though the race is over, retrospective sponsorship is always welcome!
After three Edinburgh Marathons, it was the Big One - London!  To prove I ran it, here I am in St James Park afterwards with medal and finisher's t-shirt - just before the next 'April shower'.

I chose to run for African Revival  www.africanrevival.org  the charity behind the link between St Martin's Primary School and Gulu Public School in Northern Uganda - a region badly hit by the civil war for which, thankfully, a ceasefire was recently signed. So now is a great time to help the community rebuild their life with practical and sustainable projects they will themselves identify through the Gulu/St Martin's link - a link which now involves both St Martin's School and Church.  You may have seen one of my fellow AR runners interviewed on BBC before the race itself.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: African Revival will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

The experience of running my first London was amazing - the atmosphere, the camaraderie, and the elation of another "PB".  Lets make it count even more for Gulu.

Many thanks for your support.
