Mencap wants a world where people with a learning disability gain an equal right to choice opportunity and respect. The charity believes that people should have equal opportunities in education, work and in playing a full part in the community. They believe that support for the families and carers of people with a learning disability is vital to achieving their vision

My personal message:

After succesfully completing the Marathon Des Sables in 2007, I'm returning to my favourite Marathon, London on 13 April,  for my fundraising challenge in 2008, so thankyou for visiting my fundraising page.  I'm also taking part in the Great North Run on 6 October so any donations are for both events.

Please dig as deep as you can and sponsor me online. I'm hoping to raise at least  £1,800 for this fantastic charity who continue to do amazing things, check out www.mencap.co.uk to see the work they do.
