In February of this year one of my friends had a little boy. He was born with a hole in his heart and has been undergoing treatment for the condition and will be having treatment for the rest of his life. His treatment is being done at Leeds General Hospital and attached to the hospital ward he was on, is The Children's Heart Surgery Fund. We have arranged to do a sponsored abseil to raise money for the charity to enable them to fund more vital equipment. All equipment on Ward 10 is fully funded by donations.
So on Sunday 24th May 2009 I will be jumping 170ft off of Baitings Dam, with only a cable to secure me.
This sponsored event is for The Childrens Heart Surgery Fund - The Yorkshire Heart Centre at Leeds General Infirmary.
