We support research into all aspects of cancer through the work of more than 4,250 scientists, doctors and nurses. Over the past 10 years alone, thousands of lives have been saved through earlier detection and improved treatments. But, much work remains to be done if we are to achieve our aim of beating cancer.

My story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. On the 7th of September I'm aiming to complete Ironman UK in aid of cancer research. The event comprises of a 2.4 mile swim in the lake at Sherborne, Dorset, followed by a 112 mile cycle and 26.2 mile run.

Wow that was tough! Managed to complete the course in 10hrs 25mins including transitions. 1hr 13min swim. 5hr 42min bike and 3hr 21mins run. Full results at www.ironmanuk.com Many thanks to everyone that has sponsored me so far.
