Well I did it!

I managed to complete the marathon in 4:45:55 and had one of the most memorable experiences of my life. It was a wonderful day, if a little on the warm side, and the crowds and other runners made it very special (even though I ran most of the way with a womble, who then beat me!). Thank you to all my friends for your sponsorship and to my family for the support and encouragment throughout. The banner was brilliant!
