You can read all about the excellent work they do with their charity on the box opposite. We are also raising money for Sam Young. Father, Roger Young is a much liked and respected work colleague at Emcon where Pete works, and is very sadly on long term leave due to health problems, Their (Roger and Bev's) son Sam, is a spritely 17 years who has cope admirably with cerebral palsey all his life. To say the family have had a rough ride would be the understatent of the century. Their urgent requirement is funds for Sam’s forthcoming holiday with his carer whilst parents Bev and Roger spend much valued time together We wish them the very best. I'm going to need plenty of motivating throughout the training months, any incentive you can give will spur me onwards!

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cash for Kids (was Help A Local Child) will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
n.b. I am funding the event myself, so none of the funds will be used for anything other than the charity. So please sponsor me now!
Many thanks for your support.
Just a quick footnote to extend our thanks to Mark Valentine and the Leyland Round Table for their whopping contribution! Thanks***
