CBM is an international charity that was founded in 1908 to provide treatment, support and rehabilitation to people living in poverty with blindness, deafness or a disability. We work in more than 100 countries, and with over 1,000 projects in collaboration with local partners, we are able to reach more than 18 million people each year.

My personal message:

I made it! The last six miles were tough but I managed to finish in 5,345th place in 3hrs 34m 2s - an improvement of almost 8 minutes and 900 places on my personal best in 2005.

I have been quite overwhelmed by people's generosity. Thanks so much for your support which already amounts to over £250 per mile run. It is hugely appreciated and allowing for gift aid I have raised well over £7,000 for CBM.

You can still give after the event so please do keep giving to a good cause and do let others know whom you think might be interested.
