My story

Peter’s have decided to create a challenge for a select few of it’s senior management whilst raising money for charity.

The challenge is to climb and descend the three highest peaks in the UK within 3 consecutive days.  This is no mean feat with all three routes totalling 42.43 Km in length with an ascent of 11,262Ft!!

This is roughly 16,893 of our sausage rolls stood end on end!

The 6 athletic men making the trip are Ken Blackman, Tony Thompson (Regional Sales Managers), John McAughtrie (National Accounts Manager), Justin Griffiths (Food Service Director), Vince Edes and John Llewellyn (Regional Van Sales Directors).

The event kicks off on September 24th and spans 3 days finishing on September 26th.  This leaves the guys 3 months to transform themselves from soft, squidgy pie men to tough, enduring mountain men!

The aim of this challenge is to raise as much money as possible for the chosen charity – CLIC Sargent.  The challenge team have set themselves a fundraising target of £20,000 which will be achieved using various fundraising methods which will be constantly updated on our blog. www.petersfood.com

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: CLIC Sargent gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Thanks for visiting Peter's Three Peaks Fundraising Page - please sponsor us now!

Well done to everyone and good luck for the event later this year. Lets hope you raise double!!!! Donation by Annemarie McAughtrie 23/01/09
