 ********************** UPDATE  *******  I DID IT!!!************************
On Sept 24th I swam from Dover to Calais in 17hrs 55mins

Why? To raise money for the fabulous Penny Field School in Leeds. So they can buy a much needed Minibus to take the disabled kids out to exciting places like normal kids do!!

My eldest son Archie has profound special needs and attends Penny Field. This brilliant school is a vital lifeline for so many kids like Archie, and the fantastic staff do all they can to ease pain and help the kids learn and enjoy life as much as humanly possible.

But........they need a new minibus so all the special needs kids can go an enjoy the world around them - visit farms, swimming pools, the countryside - you name it.
