My story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. This is a picture of me and my son Jim (he's the one on the left). Thanks to APEC he is alive, however Pre-Eclampsia very nearly claimed his life as well as my wife and my stepson Joe a few years earlier. I have just started this page so you could be the first to help with this cause.

My wife and I plan to trek up the Andes in aid of APEC next autumn. In order to do this I need to raise £2650 (and do a lot of training). If you have found the saxophone, jazz or composition resources on my site useful please sponsor me online. (Once this target is met I will continue to use the site collect on behalf of APEC and/or other charities)

UPDATE: We've done it! But you can still donate for a few weeks, nearly got to the target!

For info on the trek and training please see the fundraising blog

You can give as much or as little as you like. (Please don't be put off by all the £30 donations, those are all in return for CDs). Please donate what you can afford. If you are an educational institution or commercial organisation wishing to use the resources from my website please contact me first via the site. Please do not download and redistribute the pages in any form as this would mean less money for the charity, but of course you may create links to my site. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Action on Pre-Eclampsia will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. So please sponsor me now! Many thanks for your support, and please keep an eye out on my site for my CD release, all proceeds (not just profits) will also be going to charity.

Please note that the figure shown for amount raised offline also includes money raised on other online activities, including sales of DVDs and revenue from the Google ads on my site.
