Hi Everyone!

Thanks for coming to my fundraising page!

I'm very excited to be running my first ever Boston Marathon this year. I am running the marathon for 3 reasons:
-To raise money with Team Brigham to help improve the health of families in Greater Boston's low-income neighborhoods. One program is The Connecting Hope, Assistance, and Treatment Program that provides financial assistance to women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer but do not have the income to pay for treatments.
-In honor/memory of my mom. My mom lost her battle to breast cancer this past September. I know that my mom would be thrilled to know that I was running the Marathon for this charity program. When it came to athletics, my mom was my biggest fan and supporter. If she were still alive, she would be walking around Boston telling everyone within earshot, "That's my daughter. The short red head. She's running the Boston Marathon. I have 3 daughters...." (we all know how my mom likes to talk about her daughters!) -To finally be able to say that I participated in the Boston Marathon instead of being a spectator all these years. I have set a goal of $10,000 and with all of your help I know I can go beyond that goal. Thanks so much for all of your support and see you on the cheering sidelines! Jana
