The Midlands Air Ambulance launched its first helicopter in May 1991. The charity now operates 3 helicopters, providing rapid paramedic attendance on scene, treatment and transport to the most appropriate hospital, potentially benefiting up to 8 million people across a vast region.

My story

Thanks for visiting the PGAX Christmas Kids Classic fundraising page.

This year, PGAX are collecting donations for a very special cause, The County Air Ambulance. This charity was chosen because of one very special girl's story. In September 08, McAyla was involved in a serious RTA and was airlifted to Hospital. The swift response by the Air Ambulance and their crew, were who saved McAyla's life that day. PGAX is the definitive online PC golf simulation tour for Expert level players using the game Tigerwoods PGA Tour08 by EA Sports. We run a weekly online tour that mirrors the real USPGA Tour and have members from all over the world, playing and communicating online each and every week of the year.

McAyla's Dad, is a PGAX member and so it seemed fitting to bring the online Golf Gaming Community together in this cause. For the PGAX Kids Christmas Classic, PGAX will be catering for ALL skill levels during the event, from Novice through to Expert.

PGAX Team Design, create replica courses of the real event for use within the PC game and for the PGAX KIDS CHRISTMAS CLASSIC, we are releasing (at zero cost as always) a special course for our online event which takes place between 16th and 24th December 08. This course will initially, only be made available to participants who donate to the cause highlighted on this page. Once this webpage closes in June 09, the course will be released to the general community. (Also free of charge)

The PGAX Tour is free to everyone who owns a valid copy of the game and help will be given regarding course installation if required.
