Not content with doing the Bath Half in 2009, we have convinced George that it really isn't that far, that doing two five mile loops is not soul-destroying, that the last 1.5 mile uphill is easy, and that getting lapped by the elite runners is a privilege to behold their running style.....

Phil - "I said 'never again' after last year but got mugged into doing it by Matt."

George - "The last time I did this I was half the man in age and weight!"

Matt - "Phil, you've been running every day for the last year. You live for this!"

On a more serious note, we all, like most, have been affected by the traumas of cancer either directly or indirectly.  George and his wife Kelly have experienced the work of MacMillan when they both lost a parent and are eternally greatful for the care and compassion shown by the nurses at what were very difficult times. The work that MacMillan does is truly inspirational, and we would like to do our own small thing to support them.
