Hey everyone, many thanks for visiting my page; you've made the first step, so hopefully you'll proceed and donate!

I have decided to get off my backside and shift some of the - shall we say - excess baggage that I am currently carrying if you catch my drift?!

 

As an incentive I have decided to do this for a good cause, which is the children's cancer charity - CLIC Sargent - displayed on my page. Here's just a little bit of information on what they do:

 

'Every day 10 families are told their child has cancer. As the UK's leading children's cancer charity, CLIC Sargent is the only organisation to offer them all round care and support. That’s because we’re there every step of the way:

 

During treatment – providing specialist nurses, play specialists, Homes from Home...

In hospital & at home – offering specialist social care and support in the community – services for young people, holidays, grants...

After treatment – helping survivors, supporting those bereaved.'

 

I know I have some very generous friends, followers and supporters - not only from my personal background, but from my appearances on a certain ghost hunting program - but I am asking EVERYONE who reads this - whether you know me or not - to please consider donating.

 

Now, what is it I want to achieve...what are my goals?
Apart from raising as much money as possible for this well deserved charity, I am aiming to lose 3 stones in 2 months. This may be a challenge, but I promise you this; I will do my best to reach my goals.

 

So from today Monday 4th April 2011 I will be kicking of my challenge, and will not stop until Monday 6th June 2011; TWO MONTHS! 
 

Imagine life without puddings, butties, sweets, chocolate, beer...I must be mad....What HAVE I let myself in for!!!

 

I will post weekly, honest updates to let you know how it's going and to inform you on how much weight I lose each week
