Mthunzi and Lilanda Initiative

Mthunzi and Lilanda Initiative supports two Zambian projects - the Mthunzi Centre, and St Joseph's school in Lilanda, both in Lusaka. The projects care for vulnerable young people affected by economic and social problems in Zambia. M.A.L.I. must raise over £15,000 each year for school and college fees and books. We also organise cultural exchange visits between young Scots and Zambians.

My story

In August 2008, 15 members of the Mthunzi culture group will travel to Scotland with 2 members of Mthunzi's staff. They will spend 25 days sharing music, learning about fishing and crofting traditions, and making friends with young musicians from Argyll and the Isle of Barra. Help us make this a visit to remember.
