Phil Abbott is going to bicycle 64 miles,

2. Phil will feel compelled to finish the course,
even if all the Marshalls go home before it gets dark.
3. Phil will be so encouraged he'll attempt the full course distance in 2010.
It's a hilly course,
Pembrokeshire is not flat (it’s part of Wales),
and the downhill sections are often winding,
so that time lost climbing hills is not gained back going down the other side (on brakes).
