Acorns Children’s Hospice Trust cares for life limited children and their families from across the West Midlands. Acorns offers a network of care through its hospices in Birmingham, Walsall and Worcester and its community team who are on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The charity has helped over 1100 families but it is estimated that a further 1200 families still need the support that Acorns can provide.

My story

Just one week left....not too late to sponsor me!!

I have decided 2009 is my year for a physical challenge! In November I shall be climbing 4,200m along the Inca Trail in Peru. Sleeping in tents and hiking over mountain passes all in aid of charity.

Thank you to all who have sponsored me!!

My training began in January, I am averaging 10 - 15 miles each week and daily 1 hour visits to the gym........ In the last 6 weeks I have completed a 20 mile walk, climbed Snowdon and all 7 Malvern Hills!! 4 days to go last training session completed on Saturday with my trek buddy....20 miles over the Chiltern Hills!
