Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

UPDATED: 03/12/08

I decided back in the summer that I was going to give a Masters competition a try after almost 10 years of retirement from swimming. Nothing serious, just an incentive to get fitter and challenge myself.

It went pretty well with some good and surprising results (find them here http://www.scottishswimming.com/assets/files/downloadfiles/Masters/Results/East%20District%20Open%20Masters%20Championships%202008%20Results.pdf) and I'll look to prepare for the Scottish Masters in April 2009 now.

At the same time, I was keen to raise money for a charity that is very close to my heart as my good friend from the very first day of primary school (why did I sit in that seat?!) is both an employee and user of the Neuromuscular Centre.

With an amazing £400 raised so far it's still not too late to sponsor me as this page doesn't close until the end of February. Please help make my "comeback" more than just worthwhile for my health by sponsoring me whatever you can spare.

Thanks very much to all of you who have supported me and helped raise such a fantastic amount so far.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Neuromuscular Centre gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now.
