Lisa Tylee from the charity 'Veninos' is embarking on an epic bicycle journey of 9,000 miles across the USA (see "Cyclechallengeusa2008").

 She set out from Houston TX on March 1st , where she will return seven months later in October ...................................................but on the way she will be joining 'yours truly' in September.   

I will be mounting my trusty stead and joining Lisa on the 300 mile leg of her journey from Las Vegas to the south rim of the Grand Canyon, I shall be dodging rattle snakes in the Mojave desert and the odd mountain lion in the 'big hole in the ground' (As someone once put it !) - The Grand Canyon National Park. 

I'm expecting it to be soooooo hot   and physically demanding ..........escaping the wildlife.................that i'm hoping that every drop of my endeavour and even perspiration will be rewarded with my friendly sponsors digging deep in their pockets to support the cause !!

I will be organising various  fund raising events / parties over the coming months (including a C2C with some of my.....shall we say......'unfit'   colleagues ) to achieve my goal as well as raising the money for such a worthy charity   -    The street children of Venezuela.
