Our work in San Rafael is approaching its third year, and this year, 2008, sees the first full year of the Phoenix secondary school. By paying for the teachers' transport and salaries, as well as course books and resources, we can bring secondary edcuation to the community for years to come.

On the literacy and numeracy angel, the children are coming along really well, and I have plans to expand into other communities in 2009 and even expanding the Phoenix Secondary school if and when the demand requires it.

Obviously, the majority of the funding comes from GVI volunteers, though any extra help you can give for the secondary school will be hugely appreciated and whatever you can give, now or in the future, will be spent in San Rafael in our Phoenix secondary achools.
