They promote research into the causes of childhood liver disease to help develop further means of early diagnosis and cure, and aim to create a greater awareness of childhood liver disease through education of both the public and healthcare professionals.

Children's Liver Disease Foundation also provide emotional support to children and families affected by liver disease.
