Story
On September the 3rd I will be flying out to Pisa, Italy with the intention of cycling home via Lake Geneva, Switzerland before crossing France to Paris and then back from London to Portishead.
The trip will start by cycling up the Tyrrhenian Coast from Pisa to Genoa. From Genoa I will venture further north towards Turin across the mountainous Northern Italy region.
The next obstacle will be French Alps as I briefly venture into France before heading back East and circling around Lake Geneva, stopping off in the lakeside town of Lausanne.
France is the penultimate country on my Journey as I'll be crossing through the vineyards of Chablis and through the town of Dijon before finishing into Paris.
I will now head back home via the Eurostar into London st Pancreas stopping off at some of the Hall and Woodhouse houses on my way back to Portishead.
The journey will be around 1080miles (plus the inevitable misdirections and u-turns) and i'll be aiming to complete the journey in 14 days.
