Thanks for taking the time to visit my HELP 4 HEROES JustGiving page.
At Midnight on Thursday September 3rd, (That means you have to be there at 11.55pm Wednesday 2nd Sept.to see him go up!!) Rob Loughridge will be lifted onto the 4th plinth in Trafalgar Square. The Fourth Plinth is the name given to the empty plinth in the north-west corner of Trafalgar Square in London. It was originally designed by Sir Charles Barry and built in 1841 to display an equestrian statue. There were not enough funds available at the time to create a statue and so the plinth was sometimes referred to as the 'empty plinth'. Tonight, for one hour only, it will be occupied by Bob who is taking part in Anthony Gormley's One & Other art project.
Bob has elected to raise money for the charity Help for Heroes. Help For Heroes does wonderful work for soldiers and other servicemen and women wounded and injured in service both directly and through its support of other service charities.
