Story

Greetings, we are Tim and Simon, thank you for visiting our JustGiving page and supporting Tim and Simon’s Podathon.

We are podcasters based in Shrewsbury, UK and on 27th September 2011 we conducted a 24 hour podcasting marathon in the aid of The Alzheimer’s Society.

A podcast is a downloadable audio file which can be played on your computer or MP3 player, think of them like on-demand radio programmes without the music.

In a feat of podcasting endurance we recorded and released a new podcast every hour from 10pm Tuesday right through to 10pm on the Wednesday. You probably don’t need us to tell you that it was flipping hard work.

So here’s the deal, we produce 25 podcasts over a 24 hour period with absolutely no sleep, then secondly, you donate some money to The Alzheimer’s Society. Surely four and a half hours of material is worth a few quid? Please don’t have let us do all this for nothing.

For more information about us and to listen to the Podathon itself, please visit www.timandsimon.co.uk/podathon.

Thanks for reading and we hope you enjoy listening to Tim and Simon’s Podathon.
