On May 1st 2008, 45 British Police Officers, PCSO's, Special Constables and Scenes of Crime Officers will fly to New York to embark on a 2 day, 36 mile run challenge in Manhattan. Each officer will run 18 miles, twice, over 2 days in Uniform from the waist up! We are raising money for the J-A-C-K Foundation. We want to find the cure for the child hood cancer Neuroblastoma. Lives are being lost now to this awful disease and the cure is around the corner. We want to hire a scientist in this country to prevent UK kids having to travel to the U.S. for life saving treatment just as Jack and his family have had to do. Jack is still fighting this disease as are other young children. The NYPD and Team Continuum are supporting our cause and are providing assistance to us whilst we are in New York. Thank you guys!
