I have been persuaded to do a 10,000 feet skydive in a few weeks and I am absolutely terrified. I really don't wan't to do it and I am covering all my own costs - sponsoring me definitely doesn't mean you'll be paying for me to do something I've always wanted to do... it's the absolute opposite and I am dreading it!
I'm doing it to try to raise as much money as possible for Noah's Ark Children's Hospice, which provides practical support to children and families in the North London and South Hertfordshire area. The children Noah’s Ark aims to help are ‘life-limited’ – they have conditions which mean they are not expected to live beyond their 19th birthday. The majority (over 80%) are likely to be suffering from a genetic, progressive, degenerative condition, for example, Duchenne’s Muscular Dystrophy. Other illnesses will include, cancer, cystic fibrosis and severe cerebral palsy.
I have worked for Noah's Ark for over a year and a half and it really is an amazing charity. We receive no government funding so every penny we raise comes from public donation and events such as this. Please dig deep and donate now!
Thank you! x
(Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
