My story

Thanks for taking the time to visit Portland Sea Angling Group's JustGiving page.

As a new Angling Club we believe we have a responsibility to help and support charities, this has lead to our "Fishing For Funds" events.

We have chosen to support a charity  that is close to our members hearts which is the ABF The Soldiers Charity, with a lot of our members being former army personnel, we know first hand how much great work this charity does and how much it needs support to continue to do so.

If you cannot attend our events, why not support us via this page, don't forget every penny counts and we welcome any support you can give, so dig deep for a great cause

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

ABF The Soldiers' Charity

Charity Registration No. 1146420 & SCO39189

We are ABF The Soldiers' Charity. We give lifetime support to serving and retired soldiers and their families. They risk so much for us, but for them, it's "just doing their job". In return, we give them down-to-earth help and friendship, with no hassle or bureaucracy. That's what we've been here to offer for 66 years.
