Story
Prison Week - A prison diet, solitary confinement and a hard cell floor!
From Monday 20 October to Sunday 26 October 2008 trustees and supporters of Philemon UK will be taking part in prison week in order to identify with prisoners around the world and raise awareness of and funds for the Philemon Foundation's work amongst prisoners and ex-prisoners in Kenya.
Participants are doing a range of prison-themed activities for the week including:

E.g. small portions of porridge, ugali maize flour, spinach and cabbage. Two portions of meat all week.
Basic conditions
E.g. washing from a bucket
Solitary confinement
All day Saturday will be in solitary confinement. No food, computer, TV, radio, music or human interaction.
Hard cell floor
Saturday night will be spent sleeping on the floor without a mattress.
Freedom
Sunday will be spent thanking God and enjoying basic comforts!
Please ask the person who told you about prison week for more information about how they personally are participating.
