THE AIM OF THE CHARITY IS TO PROVIDE SELF SUFFICIENCY AND EDUCATION IN RURAL AREAS, AT PRESENT IN UGANDA AND PAKISTAN. IN OUR CARE ARE TWO ORPHANAGES; ONE HOME FOR STREET CHILDREN; CHILDREN FROM A REFUGEE CAMP IN NORTHERN UGANDA ARE IN BOARDING SCHOOL. PROVIDED APPROX. 45 ANIMAL PROJECTS AND 4 WATER BOREHOLES, PIPING FOR FRESH WATER AND SEWERAGE.

A childrens' home in Tanzania, East Africa - caring for orphaned , abandoned or abused children who have no one else to care for them. To provide them with loving care, education and moral values which will equip and enable them to make a positive improvement and have a lasting impact on the fabric of Tanzanian society and culture when they leave.

Casa Alianza provides care, rehabilitation and legal aid services for over 12,000 Street Children each year in Guatemala, Nicaragua, Honduras and Mexico. Our approach includes outreach services, crisis centres that are open 24 hours a day, 365 days per year, full time residential programmes and community support and family reintegration.

Casa Reom Trust is a UK based charity co-ordinating fundraising to build a new centre and school for street children near Beira, the second largest city in Mozambique, Africa. Dormitories, classrooms, sanitary blocks, kitchen and communal meeting area are all planned for construction which commenced in 2005.

Congo Children Trust supports the Kimbilio project in Lubumbashi, DRCongo. Kimbilio provides street children with access to food and shelter, education and training. The ultimate aim being reconnection with their families and reintegration into society. Kimbilio is also supported by CMS and works alongside the Anglican Church in Congo.

Depaul Foundation works with homeless and disadvantaged people across Western and Eastern Europe. For example, it provides outreach and day centre services for vulnerable street children in Ukraine, accommodation and medical services for the elderly in Slovakia, as well as having over 50 projects working in the UK and Ireland

In Northern Ireland we support global Habitat for Humanity projects by raising funds and sending Global Village volunteer teams. Homeless International supports partners in Africa and Asia who are working with slum communities to reduce poverty and to improve living conditions. We believe that poor communities have a right to safe and secure housing, and that through working together to express their ideas and needs, they can play a central role in creating equitable cities.

We use football to energise and empower people who are homeless or excluded to change their own lives. The Homeless World Cup Foundation supports grass roots football development programmes in over 60 nations triggered by the Homeless World Cup, an established international football tournament addressing health, education and welfare globally. 77% of players change their lives significantly after participating.

Hope provides a safe family environment for orphaned children in the state of Kerala, South India. It has already built six houses in the Hope village for up to 60 children, each house supervised by its own dedicated 'Mother'. It also provides a kindergarten for over 50 children as well as a fully staffed medical centre.

It aims to provide care and shelter to children on the streets of Zimbabwe, offers counselling and teaching within a Christian context. It advocates for the rights of children.

We work with local people in the Philippines and Myanmar to alleviate poverty and care for abandoned children. We sponsor over 300 kids through school and have facilities for 100 kids in our purpose built home, feeding programs for hundreds of kids living on a rubbish dump. Regular team challenges enable volunteers to take part in our work overseas.

The Nepal Balbalika Trust is a small charity, which aims to improve the lives of Nepalese orphans. The trust is in the process of finishing it's first orphanage outside Kathmandu which will educate and care for 56 children. The charity holds the world record for the highest concert and broke the world record forthe longest performance 44 hours non stop and this year is trekking and gigging with remote tribes in the Amazon. www.music4children.org

RETRAK aims to offer street children a permanent, locally relevant alternative to life on the streets and to enable them to take their future into their own hands. A team of professionally run social work organizations, the RETRAK projects, work closely together to build and strengthen models of excellence, increase local capacity and speak out for the rights of street children.

Sale Rotary Club raises funds to support local, national and international causes, both directly and through Rotary's own charity, the Rotary Foundation. Not commonly known, Rotary is responsible for virtually eliminating polio throughout the world.

The Shelterbox trust provides, on a worldwide basis, humanitarian relief and aid in the form of material and equipment that provides shelter, warmth and comfort to people displaced by natural and other disasters.

It works to relieve poverty and sickness and advance education, in particular, but not exclusively, amongst homeless children and young people in Sierra Leone

"Street Children Aid Pro Deo" supports 5 NGOs in Romania and Rep. Moldova (currently the poorest country on Europe) It raises funds so that the NGOs can run Children's Homes, daily Canteens with education and support desperatly poor families. The poor in Romania are poorer now after joining EU because of rising prices of all necessities.

Urban Saints Youth Mission Project, takes teenagers from the UK to Africa to build relief housing for the poor. This can also include schools and clinics. No matter what we build physically, the trip is designed to build the character of our youth through servant hood and Christian values.
