My story

We are doing the Triathlon in August to raise money for Pump Aid.

'Making poverty history' is in the news a lot at the moment, especially in Africa. Three million people die every year as a result of a lack of safe drinking water, with sub-Saharan Africa being the worst affected.

Pump Aid provides clean, safe water for people in Malawi, Zimbabwe and Mozambique and has had requests for help from several other countries. The pumps have a cheap, simple design and can be easily constructed and repaired from materials available locally.

£200 will buy and install a pump, we are looking to raise £4,000 which would provide clean water for up to 10,000 people. Any donation you make goes directly to buying/ installing pumps as admin costs are covered by other sources of income.

Many thanks for your support!! PS If you are a UK taxpayer, you can add an extra 28% in tax relief at no cost to you.
