Team Puppy Power features 'Big Burtha' - a 2.4L 1995 Toyota Previa, 4 slightly insane people and a retarded dog. Team Captain is Kristina aka 'Cookie Monster'. Second in command is Mat aka 'Nobhead'. Driver number three is Gemma aka 'Madam Big Boobs'. The comedy relief member and our non driver is Fraser aka 'nickname pending'. And finally we have Quinn the Northern Inuit aka 'Quinny The Dustbin'.
Our challenge is to drive BB (Big Burtha) from Dover to Rouen, France then on to Cabo Da Roca in western Portugal AND BACK via various places!! We will hopefully cover over 5,000km. We will be dressed as Daphne, Fred, Velma and Shaggy. Quinn will be filling in as Scooby Doo! And Burtha will be painted up like the Mystery Machine! We will be wearing these costumes (plus wigs!) the whole way.....
100% of the money you give goes directly to charity as we will be covering all costs ourselves (no mean feat in itself!!). This year all money raised will go to a project to raise the awareness of Malaria and how to prevent it. Malaria is the biggest killer of children under 5 throughout the world. Malaria is relatively easy to prevent for very little money so please remember that every little helps!

The Event Date is actually August 27th 2009 - August 31st 2009 not September like the just giving event says but we will be travelling back as well so our event will run From August 27th - September 6th!
