Pursue: Parkinson's Unit Appeal at Cardiff and Vale NHS Trust has the primary aim of funding a Tilt Table and Sway Monitor, sophisticated, state-of-the-art equipment which will help better diagnose why any individual Parkinson's patient loses their balance.
We will also be offereing some support to enrich the quality of life of Parkinson Disease sufferers, their families and carers.
Our vision is to establish a Centre of Excellence for Parkinson's Disease which will deliver visionary care to patients in Cardiff and the Vale, and raise awareness of this condition across the region.
