For 92 years The Queen Alexandra Hospital Home has 'served those who have served'.

We provide a multi-disciplinary approach to care with a strong focus on rehabilitation and helping residents to regain lost skills, build strength and improve mobility. Through this approach we have helped a number of residents return to living in the community.

Your donation will help those people who have risked their lives for us in their time of need. We receive no government funding and need to raise £1.3 million each year to provide our Heroes with the highest quality care and rehabilitation in a place they can call Home.

Case study: donations in action

Robert served in the Gulf War with the Royal Artillery and sustained serious injuries from a landmine. In a cruel twist of fate, he had just recovered from this when he was involved in a serious traffic accident, which necessitated an amputation below the right knee.

Robert came to us for rehabilitation, determined to walk again. We gave him intensive physiotherapy and hydrotherapy and helped him to adjust to his new prosthetic limb.

Weeks later, Robert literally walked out of the door, waving goodbye, with his whole life ahead of him. You would hardly even know he has been through such a harrowing experience.
