My story

Run Completed !!

Having set myself a personal target of getting under 2 hours, i was pleased to cross the line in 1 hr 50 minutes. My legs ache, and stair descending is proving a little difficult - a bit of a problem in my trade ! but it was great doing the run yesterday. Thanks to Duncan for his 'virtual training' and to Helen who also did a great time at under 2 hours. We've exchanged numerous emails comparing times etc during training which helped keep up spirits when it would have been easier to quit.

Thank you to all those who've sponsored me. If you haven't yet but still wish to do so, donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: British Heart Foundation will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Many thanks for your support.
