On 27th January 2007 I will be competing in Tough Guy 2008 to raise money for The Laura Case Trust.
Why Tough Guy?
Tough Guy is no wimpy road marathon (marathon runners please ignore). In 2007 only 30% of competitors finished the course – if you get hypothermia or break a leg you get pulled out. I’ll cry whatever happens. See for yourself what Tough Guy involves in this video:

Why a Quest?
It’ll be a bit like in ‘Groundhog Day’. If I don’t finish there’ll be another 2 years of Metrosexuality; If I do finish, men everywhere will be able to obsess about their finger nails and take an interest in Interior Design without the stigma of that terrible term.
Why The Laura Case Trust?
Melissa, Anthea, David, and Laura’s friends set the Trust up in the Wake of Laura’s death last year. Laura was a medical student and was passionate about her work. The trust will focus on medical projects with an emphasis on Africa, such as sponsorship of medical training and the collection and shipping of surplus medical equipment to the 3rd world where it is badly needed.
Please give generously. This is a cause very close to our hearts and you can be sure that all your donation will help with worthy causes. My company runs a donation matching scheme so keep upping that figure. Remember to mark in you comment ‘Toughy’ or ‘Metro’ depending on your assessment of my chances. Donate after the event if it’s not just dependant on the taking part.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Will.
